Hello everyone,
Okay so here is the story. This semester I am taking a public speaking class and I needed to make a DIY project and present how I made it. While scrolling through Pintrest I found how to make a tic tac toe board game out of old jeans. So not only did I use the process of how to make it for my speech but I though that I might show you all how I made it as well.

I was hesitant about posting this because the X's and O's didn't come out as neat as I wanted them to be but I thought this was a good little project to make to repurpose your jeans. Saving the environment one jeans at a time and what not.

So if you would like to know how I made this DIY then keep reading down below.

The materials you will need:

At least two pairs of jeans
Hot glue or super glue
Scissors or fabric cutter
Extra fabric
Something to lay everything on like newspaper or plastic bags

Making the game board

The game board is comprised of many squares to make one big square so to get those squares you want to lay your jeans out and make a few dashes of how big you want your squares to be.

You can eyeball it but I used this brochure to guide me.

I made about six dashes to which I was able to make seven square cut outs on each leg as you can kind of see above. I wasn't able to picture the whole leg but you get the gist.

After you cut one leg you want to do the exact same thing to the other leg and then you should have twenty-four cut out squares from both pants.

The squares you cut out are connected because you cut them from a pant. You have two options of whether to cut each connected square in half or keep them together. I chose to keep them together for thickness.

Once you have established that then you want to lay nine square out to make one big square.

Once you done so glue them together so it is all connected.

It should look like this when you are done.
If you want you can add string to decorate it a little bit.

 Making the game pieces

Now you will need ten of the extra squares you have to make the game pieces. You will want to cut those in half so that you have a top and bottom.

Once you cut a square in half take either the top or bottom and put glue on three sides.
Then you take the other top or bottom and put it on top.

You should have an opening on one side which will allow you put stuffing inside.

After you put the stuffing inside glue that last side down and your pieces should look like this.

You will need five pieces for your X's and five for your O's.

Lastly, take and fabric you have and make your X's and O's.
Mines came out very messy but I just said it was aesthetic. You can either have jagged edges like mines or print out a X and O stencils.

Well that is all for this post. It was hard trying to explain how to make this DIY so if you have any questions feel free to comment them down below.
