Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
A few weeks ago I had a very impromptu photo shoot where first I took photos in a tracksuit, which I will post later this month, but then while I was on my way out of the building I saw the sun shining on the stairs and I thought that this would be a perfect photo opportunity.

There was a big window in front of me that the sun was shining through and at the time of this shoot it was around 6:30PM so golden hour, my favorite hour, was hitting. The sun gave me an instant highlight and just really gave my skin a nice glow.

As for my outfit I wanted something that was pretty neutral and didn't stand out as much. I went with my striped creme and black cardigan which was a gift from my great aunt. It's very big and falls off you a little so it was good to use it as a prop in my photos. I then went with a green sleeveless top from Rue21, black jeans from Macy's and these tan shoes from local show boutique in my town.

I felt that my outfit was pretty relaxed, casual and not to flashy because what I really wanted to focus on was the photography and the lighting. If you didn't know, when I do photo shoots I usually do them by myself with my phone and tripod so sometimes my photos aren't always up to par but I felt really good about these photos because they turned our great in my opinion.

Random Thoughts I often have a lot on my mind that sometimes I feel like when everything is in my head I just tend to over think everything. I'm also a Virgo so over thinking is literally in my nature. I thought that instead of over thinking in my head I would create a section in my posts where I just talk about what's going on in my mind and right now there is one big question that I have. Is it okay/is it possible to have a mid-college crisis? I have been enrolled in college for three semesters now and it's not a bad school but it just wasn't meant for me to go there. I have now applied to two other schools and I'm just confused on what path I should take. As the true Virgo I am I will probably make a pro/con list of all my college choices and see which one is the best for me but to be honest I just really want to find the school that I like and know will provide me with the best opportunities. I also want to find the college that has many activities and event because I get bored easily. My school is in a small town so not much goes on and it gets to me because now that I'm in the suburbs for the summer I am trying to jam pack my schedule to make sure I keep busy. As for my personal life well it's kind of everywhere but there are some aspects I can't control like losing friends, dating I believe but what I can control is my blog. There are a lot of things I want to change from the layout, format, content and quality so I'm really going to work on these aspects this summer. Usually I will set a date but I realized if I set a date by when I want everything done then I never make that deadline so what I have to do is work gradually and hope for everything to look good in the end. Well that's my spill. They say in college you are supposed to be living your best years but so far it's been stressful and confusing. I'm not saying that everything is supposed to be gumdrops and rainbows but it would be nice if we took a step back from work and school and live in the moment and have fun even if it's just for a weekend.

Well that is all I have for this post. I really liked the random thoughts section I had in this post but I might just have separate blog post for it. Let me know what you guys think about this idea and about the photography. These pictures are some of the best photos I have taken so far so I'm going to try to work on finding new locations for my photo shoots and using new techniques for my photos.

Until Next Time,
Samara
